RV-10 Fuselage Construction - Fuselage Side Skins

This is a sideview of the SoundEx Products insulation. It is a 3 ply insulation material in various thickness. Rather than buying their rather expensive RV-10 kit, I elected to purchase bulk 36" X 48" sheets. Shown on the left is the 1 1/8" SX-1125 and on the right the 7/8" SX-875. The SX-1125 will be used under the forward floorboards and on the side skins where it can fit. Due to the depth available, the SX-875 will be used under the rear floorboards.
